Celebrate Bram Frank’s Birthday

Grandmaster Bram Frank will turn another year wiser on July 19, 2025.  In celebration of his 72nd Birthday, Artisan Martial Arts is hosting GM Frank for his annual Birthday Training Camp with a Birthday BBQ celebration on Saturday.

GM Frank is the founder and Director of CSSD/SC. He is also a knife designer and holds patents on some of the most revolutionary knives made today. Learn Bram Frank’s revolutionary Modular System – a comprehensive method to master Blade Concepts and applications. At the 2025 camp we will be doing a deep dive study and training in the his less-than-lethal tool the CRMIPT and of course, we will also review the Preasa Bolo as well.

FAQ – Quick Answers

Who can attend?

Anyone.  It doesn’t matter what style you study, what rank you are, whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will get something out of this training camp.

Is this an instructor camp?

Yes. However, if you don’t want to become an instructor, that’s okay. The base price for the camp is for everyone. For those who are attending as a new instructor or are testing to level up, there is an extra cost in addition to the cost of the camp.

How will virtual training work?

We have discontinued the Virtual Training Option. However, we will be filming the semainr and will be posting it on GM Frank’s training website. If you do not have an account at BramFrankModularTraining.com and you would like access to it after the camp is over, you will need to create one.

Do you have to attend the Camp to go to the Birthday BBQ?

Yes and No.  Only attendees can attend the BBQ even if you attend just one day or the entire camp.   However, you can bring someone with you to the BBQ if you are going to attend.

I am flying in, where do I fly into? Which hotel is the best to stay in?

You will be flying into Portland International Airport (PDX). Any hotel in the area would be suitable.

We are in the process of setting up a group discount at local hotel, if you are interested, please stand-by and we will be adding that information here.

Will there be knives for sale at the camp?

There will be limited quantities.  If you are seriously interested in getting a Bram Frank knife at the camp, contact Sensei Mish and he will have Bram bring one out for you.

As a school owner how may students do I need to bring to get in free?

Four. All that is needed is 4 of your students to attend. Preferably they should register online, but this can also be done at the door. Send me the names of your 4 students and I will send you a code for you to register for free.

As always we are offering a three day camp with the option of leaving with an instructor certification in the CRMIPT, the three day camp without certification, and the option of attending for only a day or two.
